Emerging from the Entertainment Capitol of the World, The Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada JayKapp aka (J.Romero Jr.) was born on May 2, in Upland, CA to a Family and began his music career at age 3 playing the drums, Taught by his Father and musical inspiration (J.Romero Sr.) By age 10 JayKapp was performing at different venues in Southern California as a feature in his fathers band. Moving to Las Vegas at age 14 he got his first taste of the Recording studio and Music Production, by a child hood friend and has been hooked ever since building a name and brand (Beatmobb) in the Las Vegas area. Jaykapp spent many years as a drummer and / writer in the Band “Somobe” Winners of the Las Vegas Weekly’s Battle of the Bands and earning the Coveted title of Las Vegas Best Band. Warming the stages for many Platinum Acts as a regular opener for the House of Blues and 98.5 kluc’s Annual Summer Jam where he was introduced to Platinum Producer Tommy Coster Jr and was invited to LA to work on The motion picture soundtrack for “Living the life” Dej Productions, a graduate of Los Angeles Recording Workshop JayKapp has since been blessed with Producing Gold and Multi-Platinum Recording artist Rich Boy, Brooke Hogan, Baby Bash and The Federation. as well as working with Universal Music publishing’s “Killer tracks” and being a finalist in the Nations premiere beat battle “Red Bull Big Tune” producer beat battle .
